Personally, I've always felt a slight touch of anti-climax on completing any of the TW series, but then again I feel like that with most games that have an ending some games, such as combat flight sims (Il2, Rise of Flight etc), or Football Manager don't really have endings. I remember playing TW:M2 and taking it up 1700AD with just the Pope and me (England) left I just wandered armies around, looking for rebel uprisings - there were none - while I completed every level of building available to my settlements, lol.
